Baja Color! Did anyone notice a few things different about this Sunday's LA Times Magazine? Namely that, well, the name changed back to "LA Times Magazine", as opposed to the name "West" which was what they were calling it this past year.) The timing of this relaunch works out nicely with our Fall Color's contest, as it's the Home Design issue, and it centers around the colorful locale of Baja California.
They feature five different types of beach houses, going from a gorgeous modern 5500 square foot home, to a quaint little 360 sq. foot trailer. They also discuss the growing popularity of property buying along the border. Also, there's a fun spread that brings some great inspiration for anyone looking for a modern take on mexican color.
Check out more of the new LA Times Magazine here.

i read this and smiled a smug smile of smugness when I saw how much that black pottery was selling for. Over 200 bucks. I got mine in Oaxaca from the family who mastered that type of pottery for about 20 bucks a piece. Go to Oaxaca, people. It's totally worth it!
