We're not morning people, and we're kind of jealous of people who are. We're even more in awe of people who are creative in the morning. Like Stephanie of Little Birds and Mav of Port2Port who started a joint photoblog entitled 3191 which chronicles a year of mornings through photographs.
Named for the number of miles that separates these two friends, they take a photo each morning and post them, creating a whimsical photographic collage daily. These collages are so quietly poetic, we've been visiting every morning to start our day (even if it's at 10:30 am). It's a great exercise in creativity and connection--it's almost uncanny how similar the photo couplings turn out!
