Do you ever get a little bored with the same catalogues and glossies month in and month out? We admit it, we do. We've been feeling the need to go a little off the beaten path when choosing art for to go in our hallway. When we saw this series of bright placards by LA-based artist Flo Zavala at Big Skills, we were secretly hoping they'd be available. (They aren't. Yet.)
If you're unfamiliar with Flo's work, we highly advise you to check out some older pieces at his site Brown Like Me; and if you're already a fan, this peek into his thought processes during his grad school stint at CalArts may inspire you to further artistic greatness. (Honestly, his sketchbook drawings and exercises feel like a Michel Gondry music video).
