The fine folks at Design Boom posted some photos from Seoul Design Week 2007, and we're in awe of some of the work that's being featured. Pictured here is Chul An Kwak's new 'R.N.I' series of furniture.

His pieces are modeled after images of running horses, giving these tables a sense of motion and precise balance. We can't stop marveling over these!
Another cool product that debuted at Seoul Design Week was the Rosella Folding Umbrella from the Nothing Design Group. This umbrella is not only compact, but it transforms into a lovely rose on the brink of blooming.

Great shades of Beetlejuice! Those tables are kind of eerie.

More like an octopus, I'd say.

I love the tentacles and the sense of motion that those tables have. I imagine it must have been somewhat difficult to balance them that way.

Woo! Cthulhu end tables! That's the coolest thing I've seen all year!

The tables are elegant and graceful. Works of art, really. I envision one among a room full of angular modern white furniture. I especially like the one on the left -- the one on the right is nice also, but that phallic part throws me off just a bit.
