Blogging...Todd Oldham's Photography Portfolio

You can check out all of Todd Oldham's photographic work from interiors to celebrities over at Marek & Associates, but we've picked out some of our favorites. Love the bold cheery colors (even if it is over the top!), strong graphic patterns, and the soft backlit headboard in the bedroom seems like a pretty cool way to light a bedroom...

i would bow down and worship absolutely ANYTHING that Mr. Oldham touches. he is fearless and fabulous and a design icon. i've adored him ever since his early days on MTV's House of Style with Todd Time.

I always appreciate what Mr. Oldham does with FLOR tiles to make them his own.

Does anyone know anything about the low shelving units in these photos? I'm guessing they were Todd-DIY projects, but I know these photos were published in a magazine a while back and am wondering if he spoke/wrote about how they were made. I particularly like the unit in the first photo, where some is closed storage, some is open. I have a stretch of about 20' where I could do something like this (and need the storage space).

I think IKEA has tried and failed miserably to mimic this feel. Makes me feel like a kid when I see so much balance drizzled with color.
