050908niche.jpgA simple way to define a space is to use paint. We noticed this clever paint treatment in the June 2008 Living Etc. They utilized the awkward corner space in the stairwell and created a graphic niche...

The color blocking makes a bold statement by itself, but also acts as great background to showcase a collection. Could also be a fun idea for a landing strip.
