As inspiration for this month's AT Pet Décor Contest, we wanted to share two books that might spark your creative kibbles into motion.
Although not a practical how-to guide, Fred Albert's Barkitecture is an entertaining book of canine architecture. From quaint thatch roofed cottages to harsh Bauhaus-inspired (Bowhaus?) structures for Rover, Barkitecture reveals the great lengths we pet owners will go to to make our pooch pals happy (although in reality, dogs seem content with the simplest of creature comforts, so perhaps these structures are really for their owner's sake).

It certainly beats what our last neighbor used for a doghouse. I actually felt sorry for the dog. If you are going to have a dog/pet... at least pamper him!
Hi to all,
I do recommend the book, as it will show you some amazing and fun projects that you CAN do yourself. Now, onto the comment -
The information about the book is a little incorrect. Yes, the book is brought to you by Jeff Woods and myself (Matthew Klarich) but we are not the hosts of the Barkitecture show, we are the Producers.
Nonetheless, enjoy the book and the show and keep on loving your pets!
