The web site goes on to describe the series of guides as: The definitive travel and style guides to the best Asian, European, American and Australian cities for the discerning traveller. A highly selective and opinionated list of only the best shops, restaurants and hotels, unique services and lifestyle options each city has to offer.

Even if I don't use the guide once I get to my destination, I always find it really useful to read one over to get a sense of the place and find out if there's anywhere I simply cannot miss out on. These look like great guide books to dream by and dream big. And if my interest is to travel in style and money is no object then I'm buying them, even if it's just for the cover. Because it's good to dream, isn't it?
