A site which may already be familiar to those of you who also ready ATNY, MyPerfectColor.com is a great resource for the color-shy, who may need a little help when it comes to picking color. Even if you'd rather pick up your paint from your local store, here's the place where you can start your research. Unlike many places, which group paint colors by manufacturer, here you can search colors by how you'll be using them, whether by hue (a feature that would've eliminated a lot of trips to the paint store when we were testing greys for our bedroom), via suggested color combinations, discovering what colors other people are using in the same room, or even by finding out what the top selling colors are in your state (Saybrook Sage, Monroe Bisque and Chestertown Buff are California favorites). And, when you've narrowed down your choices and it's time to test them out, they'll mix up small minicans of paint in a Benjamin Moore base, and send them right to your door (a fact we were happy to learn since we love Benjamin Moore's Aura paint but can get frustrated when we fall in love with a color in another company's fan deck).
