Room Planning Kits

planning-kit-.jpgWe were watching the 90210 reunion on Bravo last night. Brenda was talking about how she gets bored quickly and that’s why she was always changing her hair in spite of the protests of the network. Fascinating and “oh, my god!!” we get bored easily, too!!

But due to some unfortunate male pattern balding, we change our furniture around instead of our hair. We see these Room Planning Kits like this one from Loring Interiors ($49.99) a lot, and we wonder if it would help with our constant rearranging plans. We always get botched when the final piece of furniture doesn’t fit into our concept. These are plastic coated not paper, so you won’t hurt them as you madly plan out the perfect new seating arrangement dreamt up while waiting in line at Vons.

A very similar room planner is available for free online at http://jordans.com/roomplanner.asp. It might take some of the paper-doll fun out of the kit, but it's very helpful and easy to use.
