03-27-bottega-3-.jpgIf we had to name the one thing we were most impressed with at the CaBoom show, it would have to be the beautiful tables from Bottega Montana. The furniture line is created by two Italian Brothers with combined personalities that could sell you the Brooklyn bridge, but fortunately what they are hawking is not a scam. Their patent pending joints are stunning to see.
03-27-bottega-5-.jpgEach table comes with its own mallet so you can knock each wood wedge in or out of place to assemble and disassemble these tables that are formed like a simple puzzle.

The dining table might cost you $12000, but this is a price that reflects an artistry that we have not seen before.

Their furniture can be seen at Twentieth in Hollywood, and for those who care, they have a line of skateboards that are cool enough to make even this old fool want to kick it Tony Hawk style.

Hey P(TOO)- The $12000 dining table is not that round table at the top of the post but the detailed image after the fold. Check out the website to see more images.

Yes, 12 grand is high, but I swear it was the first table I ever saw and thought, "huh, $12,000? sounds about right".

It was just that good ;-)

i was shocked too at some of the prices- but they were also pretty realistic and honest about it -and the highest pieces were only for the larger pieces- the smaller stools were around $1300. which still is a grip, but at least its not $12,000- they are all hand laithed and the amount of craftsmanship is simply stunning- there's basically no nails- its all pretty much joints and glue- they were really excited because they are currently in the process of consideration from herman miller, who is interested in manufacturing one of their stools-

The Skate boards are very nice. I would consider owning one. But keeping my kid away from it might be a challenge.
