Here's an interesting idea we could see of some utility for some of our heavier, colder weather outwear in our closet (aka, clothing for Angelenos when it dips under 65 degrees). Brush that heavy peacoat or sweater before hanging it up, or rid yourself of some lint or dust before putting them on...

At about $24 for one of these Manufactum hangers you'll likely need to limited these to only your finest clothing pieces, which anyhow are the ones that could manage being brushed by horsehair bristles anyhow. Don't use this on your Forever21 or H&M duds unless you want be sporting a deconstructed look.
This is a brilliant idea...
...now if the hanger were a bit thicker and made from cedar - it would be perfect.

I would buy this thinking I'd use it. Then I never would. Ditto on the skimpy hanger part. A good 'ole lint roller works best.
Also, do you buy one for each coat?

Cute idea, but would you rather buy multiple hanger/brushes for multiple garments, or ONE brush and several (much) less expensive hangers?

I think you only buy one and the reason it's on a hanger is not to hang clothes from, but to keep it where you need it. My father regularly used such a brush on his suitjackets and generally would hang them, still on the hanger, from the top drawer of his dresser as he brushed the lint off. And this brush one is too narrow to really be good for a heavy coat.

Good point happify. I was wondering how it would work...When I brush my coats it's much easier when they are still on the hanger.
