I must know where you got the stand from... It looks so cute and useful. I collected these too, but my roommates always broke them.

I am curious why one would need more than three or four in different sizes? I am a big cook and like using them to store left overs but more than four just seems silly and excessive.

Because it's a collection. Collections are all about excess and to a non-collector, inevitably seem silly and pointless.

Pyrex is iconic, attractive, practical, affordable and nearly indestructible...a winning combination in my book ! Nice collection!

Please tell me where I can fix a tiered dish drainer like that. It would be incredibly useful with my tiny counter space.

I have a strange reaction to Pyrex with cutesy prints (or even retro takes on that design like Orla Kiely) - it really depresses me in a unhappy housewife sort of way.

Please... where did you get the rack and/or who makes it?

I collect Pyrex and Fire King. I collect only Pyrex in the blue snowflake pattern (not the garland one) currently, but I like the spring blossom green as well.

I have the same set of plates and cups but in pink and green. I love them! I also have several other old pieces of pyrex. They're great...fun, colorful and so very practical.

The best place to buy vintage pyrex on the west coast has to be the antique shops in La Mesa, San Diego, they are unbelievable. The best one I've found is a store called the Galleria, I'm obsessed, the owner thinks she has the largest collection on the West Coast. Someone needs to come and blog about these stores, seriously, they are hidden gems.

I'm raising my hand on loving that little rack too! Danielle really needs to spill the beans on the where and who of that piece!

I collect pyrex too, mostly in aqua -- butterprint, snow flake, blue bird -- but also a few misc. pieces in the red/orange/yellow spectrum. I find them sturdy, useful, and cheery (sorry to hear they make *home body* sad)!
