"...the Trianon is one of my favourite apartment buildings in Los Angeles; it was was designed in 1928 by Leland Bryant, who is best known for the Sunset Tower/Argyle Hotel. Well, I suppose I don't just love the building (which seems well-cared for), I just really love the french chateaux-inspired architecture that is mixed in with all the other styles around town. I don't know what perpetuated it, but I suppose it was all a part of the fantasy of Hollywood."

Absolutely gorgeous. I love this feature. Maybe there aren't as many years to LA's history as there are to Boston's or NYC's, but the years LA does have are unique and interesting.
