Thank god, the avocados are looking (and tasting) delish again.
Although still a little small, we just picked up our first bag of four at Trader Joes and we are in heaven.
On our short-list of why LA rocks so much harder than New York is fresh produce. No matter how fancy Balducci’s fruits and veggies might seem, they can’t hold a candle to anything LA’s got to offer.
We will now eat our favorite breakfast every day until the avocados are good no more:
1 Avocado, cubed.
2 Hard-boiled egg whites, cubed
1 Drizzle good olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste.
This is the best texture/flavor sensation we have ever had. Ever.
