After owners Jason McEntee and Greg Seares opened Bodega Wine Bar in Pasadena they wanted to continue that passion for people to relax and enjoy wine - so they opened Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica.
Located just around the corner from Swingers on Broadway and Lincoln, which was once a dance club, this ultra cool wine bar serves a myriad of whites, and reds including champagne and an assortment of desert wines that can be served in a glass, carafe or bottle.
Their philosophy is to have fun That's the whole point of all this, isn't it? We created a casual, comfortable place for you to kick back and relax. The rest is up to you. As quoted on their website.
They also add that their wines are all the same price, so there is no confusion as to why some wines have to cost more.
The Bodega bar is located in a 3000 square foot space is flanked with booths made from ultra suede, wall to wall concrete polished floors and red laminated glass that surrounds the front entrance to the bar.
So if youre looking for a new place to grab a drink with friends or perhaps get together with colleagues from work, Bodega might be the place to visit.

very relaxing atmosphere, good wine. Didn't like the music which was a little too cheesy for me. I would only hope that the DJ would play something less radio friendly and I'd go back to give the bar one more shot.
I liked it better when it was Sugar. :-(
