We no longer play Scrabble in our house due to the dictionary throwing arguments that usually ensue, so using the Scrabble tiles as place cards is a brilliant way to stop this classic game gathering dust. My husband and I are Scrabble geeks so for our wedding I bought dozens of games off Ebay and made our guests placecards out of tiles and racks. Now, years later, when we visit their homes, we see their "name racks" displayed in all sorts of places.
