Oh no, my long kept secret it out! Pepe's is such a treasure trove.

This reminds me of a place my grandmother used to shop in Brooklyn. I love digging in a place that piled floor to ceiling with stuff. It's like finding buried treasure.

Laure you didn't I can't believe you gave up Pepe's. I may never
get over this.

*sigh* This is the kind of place I would find fun to shop around in. Sadly, my foray in Culver City was very short lived. I went down to stay with friends in 2002 to look for work, but ended up having to come back to the Seattle/Tacoma area 6 months later. :-(

However, Seattle has lots of cool places like this so it's not all bad. :-)

It's bad enough that I have to deal with cutthroat Venice Beach dealers who haul everything away that they could mark up 1000%...I just hope that after this expose', Pepe's will not join the ranks of those thrift stores run by well known charitable institutions (you know who you are) who by the way is supposed to help the poor but somehow had to inflate everything because the price of FREE had gone up recently.

I thank you for letting me know about this place. I swear I won't tell anyone else. But I might do some damage there!! Thanks again!
