apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

December is all about Entertaining!

There's only 15 more days 'til Christmas and the parties have begun! We've noticed a lot of different colored trees variations this year. Last year, we asked you Angelenos what you are using for your holiday decor. Has this year changed for you? What kind of color-story do you have? Does it change yearly or do you stick to a tradition? We'd love to see what you're doing this year! Send us some pics or tag your flick photos with "apartmenttherapyla."

Pumpkin-ish and grass-green-ish. Really, just pulling out and highlighting two colors that are already in the space.

that tree is so cute! I'd love to put pop-pops and tiny yarn balls on my tree but I fear my cat would have a belly full of fluff and yarn by the time I get home from work.

I've got it separated by room. my kitchen is going to be cute red and white peppermint candy colors. the dining room has been transformed into an otherworldly winter wonderland with blue-tinted LED icicle lights, silver and white decorations, bundles of white branches, and fake fluffy snow. the living room is more traditional looking with my fake tree covered in burgundy and gold ornaments, and the rest of the room is decorated to match and create a warm inviting atmosphere.

Haven't done holiday decorating in years, but when I did it was black, white, and silver, with a touch of taupe.

This year my daughter purchased a silver tree. I originally wanted an aluminum one but they were way too expensive. I originally planned for candy apple green with black but changed it to a darker red glitter and white, with some silver, some clear glass and crystal, and a touch of black glittered ornaments i made myself. It looks stunning!

I hate matchy matchy christmas trees. Let the chaos of the season show itself in your decorations!

I love everything about this picture. I'd like to know where that base unit is from and the set of three drawers please! Does anyone know?
