We've blogged all kinds of silhouette prints from Femme Silhouette to Lotus Blossum, Dwell and more. But, if you've outgrown your fondness for birds and wish you could find something a little more personal for your home, Photojojo may have come up with something for you...
Photojojo, one of our favorite websites, rounds up all sorts of fun things to do with your digital images, from musical postcards to instant flipbooks. This week's newsletter combines our love of silhouettes with our love of prints. We could easily imagine using this technique to create clever and personal silhouette prints on pillows, curtains, sheets, or even furniture to give it a custom spin. For the complete instructions, click here.
Some ideas to get your started:
- try a silhouette of your pet or your significant other for pillows
- a silhouette of yourself on a shower curtain
- silhouettes of silverware on napkins
Only if I can make myself look thinner. :-)

This looks strange---kind of like the kids are no longer around and are wondering about hand and hand trying to find their way back home. A strange TV movie of sorts.

Considering that this craft project was created by Inhabitots writer Andrea McMann, (and it was her photos and her kids featured here) it would be nice if you could credit the original source (Inhabitots.com) rather than Photojojo...
