032609bird-04.jpgWe'd been meaning to stop by Feeding Birds Boutique for a few weeks now. AT posted about the buildings decor before but the current storefront was a new reason to check it out. Opening their doors in February, Feeding Birds is full of decorative items for the home plus a few vintage furniture finds...

032609bird-01.jpgAlex, the store's owner, happened to be there yesterday to show us around. Cute vintage glassware and moss covered bird houses stacked neatly on open shelving.

032609bird-02.jpgWhile this is Alex's work station, we love the compactness of the desk. Cubbyholes for office supplies and a simple pull down counter can be put away to make more room.

032609bird-06.jpgA framed print and miniature globes atop a vintage modern desk. Most of the items in the store are personal vintage finds that are looking for a home. Alex tells us that she rotates stock often so you'll always find something new at the boutique.

032609bird-05.jpgWe love the use of baskets and open shelving to organize products throughout the store.

--Thanks Alex!

Sydney, I'm assuming its in the building near Magic Gas. ya know, the one that houses Flounce, LadyBoy, Lucas, Chango, and Show Pony (RIP)...

Actually, it isn't. It's north of those shops. Close to Effie.

Stopped by this boutique last week- it's really cute- lots of unique knick knacks for your apartment (and great clothes too!) The owners are super nice and make you feel welcome while you shop.
