An Affordable Screen Partition: Spring Flower Curtain

033109springflower-1.jpgWhat could you make with one hundred pieces of plastic connecting flower shapes? Partition, curtains, placemat, vases, and even a lampshade (just be sure to use a bulb less than 60 watts to be safe) are some of the objects one can create with the Spring Flower Curtain set. We like to think of these as decor Legos for adults (or fashionable kids), and the price is very nice...so nice, it's all too tempting to purchase several sets to shade some of our larger windows with them. A couple more examples of what you can make with these below the jump...

033109springflower-2.jpgSpring Flower Curtain comes complete with 100 pieces that when put altogether, cover 3.25' x 3.25' of space. Available for $30 at Molla Space.

That apartment has such great atmosphere even without the partitions!

This is sooo cool! I love that you can rearrange it -it's so clean and graphic...although I am sort of wishing it came in additional colors.....

Ditto on the colors. Anyone know what the material is? Maybe spray paint is a possibility...?

Chanlan forgot to take his meds again today.

(Yeah, I know, it's spamming.)

I like the one big panel with the smaller looking pattern. I'd like to see what one unit looks like alone, though so I could imagine what to do with them. (Some of the applications were pretty granny doillie, so it matters!)

If they snap together they are probably pvc. I THINK PVC can be painted with certain paints... like Krylon for Plastic, maybe.

OMG I think I just figured out that the huge lacy screen is just like the others only more of the pieces. I'm guessing that we are talking at least $800-$1000 for that curtain! Cool but way too expensive!
