When we moved into our 70's condo in West Hollywood, one of the first things we did was remove the floor-to-ceiling mirrors in the dining area. Looking back, we'd probably do things a wee bit different: keep the mirrors, add some crown moulding, and go 30's glam. In fact, we wish we had this photo for inspiration at the time...

Agree 100%. Mirrors rule and have done so for centuries. The reason something becomes cliché is because it works. The challenge for the contemporary mind it to rework it into a new aesthetic, not to discard it.

Mirrors are great in a dining area. Facing the bed on big closet doors, not so much (if you move and creep yourself out while reading in bed "who's there?!")
But if I had these, I'd put curtains over them and when i felt like it, I would secretly dance in front of them.
