When you hear about another fashion designer coming out with a home collection, do you roll your eyes or do you immediately grab your shoes and run to the nearest department store? Well, with all the hype that Marc Jacobs has gotten over the past few years (some well-deserved, some not so well-deserved in our humble opinion), we were more than a little curious when we heard he was coming out with a home accessories line in collaboration with Waterford Crystal.
We were curious...and pleasantly surprised. We love the colors on these Peter crystal vases and bowls, and think wishfully of how fantastic they will look perched on a white mantle. Or a lacquer table. And then we choke on the prices (it's about the equivalnet of a month's rent for a nice 1 bedroom. Perhaps in the Miracle Mile area). Sigh.
