Pottery Barn Wood Gallery Frames

022808_frames.jpg
We're constantly on the lookout for simple, inexpensive frames. The Ikea Ribba frame being in our hall of fame. But now we can recognize that Ribba frame everywhere we go! That's why we're excited that the Pottery Barn Wood Gallery Frame Collection is on sale!

We like that the Pottery Barn Collection is simple like Ikea's Ribba, but these have a little bit more variety for sizes of the matte openings. Get them in black or white with either a white matte or an espresso matte. And since they range in price from $16-$24 you can buy a bunch and experiment with some picture frame collages.

If you're going a more traditional route and want to hang your pictures either one at a time or in a line, don't forget that the rule of thumb is to hang them so that the center of whatever you're hanging is at 57 inches up from the floor.

I've got a ton of these hanging in my 65-foot-long (!) hallway. They look great.

I have a bunch of these at home. They are really nice and better quality than the Ikea frames.

I've found an awesome floating glass picture frame sold at all Target stores. It's a flat 'ebony' (black wood) frame - about 1.5" - which holds an 8"X11" pic beautifully. That size sells for $20.

I wish I could post pics but I've had some black and white prints made of architectural details that I've photographed, and I don't mind saying that they look awesome.
