Since our office is arranged in cubicles, there is one holier-than-thou assistant to the manager (not assistant manager, thanks) who has blindspot mirror taped to his computer screen. "That," he said smugly, "is so I know what everyone is doing at all times, even when my back is turned." Well, if we're terribly unlucky this year and get this guy in the Secret Santa holiday gift exchange, this is what we're going to get him: The Spy Clock by Pieter Woudt.

Mirrors are a neccessity in cubical land.
Try not to be too hard on the guy.
I for one am easily startled. Someone clearing their throat outside my cubical can send me a foot off my chair and a high pitched squeal throughout the cube farm!! Especially if I'm really into my work... I get so focused that I don't notice periphery. Having a mirror allows some of the movement into my cube so that I'm not as startled by what seem like sudden sounds.
A coworker has a fisheye mirror on top of her computer. When people stop by neighboring cubicals when one's back is turned... it's hard to know if they're stopping for you or not. In one quick glance you know whether to save your work (or close the screen!).
