We included a "Before" photo of the entryway during the overhaul process at the end of the gallery. Going from dull brown walls to bright lime green makes the space vibrant and feel alive. We love the decision to paint the chrome shelf a fun red which adds another pop of color. A bold blue dresser below can be used as an in/out container and its surface for stowing keys, phones and sunglasses. The patterned black and white rug adds a bit of balance and texture to the space--bringing the entryway together.

Very nice indeed. That antique door would sing if it was stripped off of its paint and then oiled or varnished with a high gloss. It would be a fab contrast with those bright mod colors.

i love black & white against bold colors and this is a great execution of that. personally, i would have gone a touch warmer on the paint colors because of the floors (which are really neat!) ... but either way, a job well done.

I love the vintage feel. This is a good example of how much can be done with so little :-)
