Here's a pretty cool idea courtesy of Alisa who submitted this idea to Ikeahacker: Ikea's Mandal headboard can double as a floating shelf unit. Alisa sawed the headboard down the middle and mounted the two halves vertically. With the extra wood leftover, she added an extra ledge for smaller photos. Nice work, Alisa!
