Does your roof have solar power potential? Roofray

The idea of having solar power is desirable but how can you be sure that it’s the right choice for you? Roofray uses Google satellite data and information from the National Renewable Energy Labs to work out how good your homes solar potential is before buying it.

By entering in your address, the Google satellite image comes up. Using the Roofray tool you then highlight the area that you would consider adding a solar panel to. You then need to indicate which direction the roof slopes and by what percentage. Then Roofray calculates the projected performance, average monthly utility bill after solar is added, a total cost summary and how long until the system has paid for itself. Voilà!
