After going back to the future, it seems Disney is also taking a step back into the past with a line of Old Hollywood inspired furniture.

The pieces all recall the 1930's and 40's which we consider to be Disney's heyday, and in a lot of ways, a great moment in California history. It was during this time that Hollywood became Hollywood, that fast food and car culture had just come into being (in fact the first McDonalds was built in 1937), and also marked the beginning of Film Noir. So we're fans of the era. And the furniture would certainly fit in a 1930's Hollywood producer's office, ashtray on a stack of papers, cigarette box on the coffee table, you get the picture.

All of the pieces are available in multiple finishes and tons of different fabrics. The pricepoint makes these more of an investment than an impulse buy. You can view the entire collection and find store locations here (There appear to be stores in Sherman Oaks and Pasadena that carry the line).
