We have a back house attached to our garage that's barely been used since we've lived here. Since it doesn't have a bathroom, it doesn't lend itself well to being a guest house. So, we've been debating between setting up a screen printing studio in the space or a game room. But then we figured: why can't it do both?

Forgoing our original plan of getting a pool table, we've decided to get a ping pong table. Not only could it collapse and tuck in a corner, but we also got 2 sheets of plywood cut to use as a cover for when we need a huge table to work at. We installed cupboards on opposite walls--one stores all the art supplies, the other all of the recreational necessities. And remember those window seats I was complaining about last week? We found a new and better use for them! Benches for spectators, and storage underneath for unused screens and other art supplies.

The ping pong table we picked up from Sports Authority in Burbank. It's made by a company called GamePower--it was on sale for $199 from $349!
The GZA poster ain't going nowhere...;)
I'll post more photos when we get the screenprinting equipment set up.
