Baja BBQ Firepack by Mike and Maaike

Okay Angelenos, it's grillin' time again. And with it, one of the dilemmas of outdoor cooking. Oh yes siree, we love our outdoor eatin', but oh do we we hate hate hate the subtle taste of lighter fluid that permeates a badly done barbie. To the rescue: the Baja BBQ Firepack.

This is charcoal packaging that lights instantly and burns away in the grill, making the bbq experience simple, clean and chemical free.

Made from 100% recycled biodegradable paper pulp, the package contains 2 lbs of natural lump charcoal and features an integrated chimney that creates perfect hot coals in 15-20 minutes without the aid of chemicals or lighter fluid. I use a metal chimney coal starter. You load the top with charcoal and the bottom with paper. Light the paper and in ten minutes, the coals are ready. One of these lasts a lifetime if cared for properly.
