I don't get these. $2.50 each (plus S/H) for a disposable placemat. Isn't the whole point of a placemat to keep spills and crumbs off of your table? Wouldn't a placemat with punch-out designs totally defeat that purpose? I usually love Delight.com, but what were they thinking with this one?

Sure, it's made from recycled paper - but it's disposable too.
We should be encouraging folks to use washable cloth or other reusable items instead.

If you wanted them to be more practical there are lots of ways to achieve that . velum varnish modge podge works
