St. Remy Tableware

110507_dillards.jpg

A touch of the French countryside? With all the minimal white plates out there, it's nice to see a little something rustic.

This St. Remy Tableware from Dillards made us think of a simpler time with worn wooden tables and candlelight (to combat the earlier nightfall); evenings spent around the kitchen table with conversation, great cheese, and maybe even a homemade liqueur made of verbena and lavender.

As we begin the entertaining season we're thinking about ways to make for an intimate evening that isn't so much about impressing as connecting.

They have plates almost identical to these at IKEA.

Dinner plates are $2.99, can't beat that!
