A little over a year ago Staci Cain was re-evaluating her professional path. Having spent years as a studio executive, she yearned for something more creative, something that she felt more passionately about. A trip to the South of France ensued and reignited a passion she'd had since she was little: collecting antiques and vintage furniture. Now that passion has been translated into a shop bursting with glamour, style and loads and loads of amazing, covetable pieces:
Some back story: On that inspiring trip to France, Staci started collecting: she shipped her wares home and people loved them. Then she started hosting small private sales and people loved those. Then, one of her usual haunts: Casa Victoria on Fairfax decided to consolidate into one showroom (in Silver Lake) and they offered the storefront to Staci. Taking the plunge, she opened 45 Three Modern Vintage Home and hasn't looked back since.
I discovered her on the last project I was working on when one of the designers mentioned the store. I high tailed it over there and scored some great lamps and an umbrella stand for the project and met Staci. Turns out that that town in France that inspired her new direction, it's where my family lives (remember this house?). We hit it off immediately as I lusted after the wares in her shop. She carries everything from cool vintage paintings and portraits, Italian Ceramic animals, 60’s and 70’s geometric patterned fabrics, Regency style settees and lots of great lamps to abstract art from the 60s and 70’s, tufted chairs and small accessories. The store is high glamour and loaded with drama (check out that rainbow snake print on the wingback chair). And the best part is that the showroom floor changes often. Things sell quickly (great selection and prices) and if something isn't selling, Staci will recover it, reimagine it or donate it to make space for something new. She is passionate about what she decides to sell and wants, above everything, to inspire her customers. So no stale showroom for her.
45 Three Modern Vintage Home is having a sale on Saturday, August 15th 8-5pm where items will be up to 60% off!

The slideshow at the top of the page just reloads the page, which may be handy for generating pageviews but is rather frustrating for your audience. Anyway, this is a great collection of antique pieces!

Ha! When I first opened I thought I was looking at somebody's house tour and not a store. I thought "Holy color, texture, and prints Batman!" Then I read the details. This looks like a fun store to check out.

I thought the same, bumblebee!
Although I love almost everything, I was thinking that *perhaps it was a bit cluttered! It makes sense for a store.

45 Three is a fabulous store! I've been in there and the owner is really just as wonderful as described in this article. She has an amazing eye, and I'm always sure to find something special that will transform the look of my home. These pictures are great, but they don't do the store the justice it deserves. You really have to step in and experience it for yourself. I want everything from the sweet pair of elephant tables to the incredible pair of African print chairs! I definitely can't wait to check out the sale next Sat!!! I know I won't be disappointed and will be sure to walk away with some fabulous pieces and even better deals!!

My love affair with 45 Three began when I spied a fabulous pink chair on the sidewalk and couldn't resist walking in. Not only did I buy that chair, but I have filled my home again and again with beautiful pieces from this store. It is a weekly addiction! The prices are incredible and each object is one-of-a-kind. Staci has an amazing eye and an irresistible charm. I have acquired signature lamps, chairs and accessories, but more importantly I have made a cherished new friend!

This shop is the perfect combination of irresistible pieces and a wonderful owner. I stopped in off of the street just because the sign was so neat, and I ended up in a great chat with Staci. It was hard to choose from the collection in front of me, but it's gotten easier since! Honestly, if she would open a bar and restaurant in the back, this would be my second home. LOVE IT - good call on this one!

Staci Cain's store is a magical wonderland of vintage style and eclectic visual inspiration for both browsers (me) and collectors (me). While the pieces I've bought from her are small, I can't imagine my house without them. Bravo!
