Fall Colors 2006 : Honorable Mention #3

(This is the third of our 6 honorable mentions, which go to submissions that did not make the finals but really rock. They are awarded purely at the judge's discretion. Each honorable mention receives a special gift from CB2.)

#51 Northwest - Jason & Janet's Layered, Complex Color

"We especially love the first photo of this space. Of course, we approve of the bold, yet livable wallpaper. The sleek, black tulip chair is a lovely complement to the wallpaper - both in color and form - and offers a striking highlight for the space...

A touch of black is essential in every room and this is a great example of how to accomplish that. The warm tone, strong woodgrain and clean lines of the lovely desk add a richness and clarity to the room. Also, the pop of color behind the bookshelves really plays off of the flowers in the wallpaper and provides a sharp backdrop for the sparse arrangement of books and photos. Finally, the orange phone and desk clock are great accents.

I love it. There is something that jumps at you
from the picture and it's the texture of the
brown/black stipes + the coordinating floral
wallpaper + the black tulip chair. It looks well
put-together!

I REALLY love the wallpaper! Can anyone tell mewhere to find it and if there is a matching fabric for curtains, pillows, etc?
