Why I use color:
"As an aspiring artist and designer, I have a keen eye for color that personifies my environment. Color makes me feel comfortable, creative, and keeps me inspired. I feel that one's use of color is a defining trait to a personality; people who surround themselves with color tend to have a colorful personality. I am not afraid to use color. On the contrary, I have recently transformed my bedroom into a vintage-chic dream room, consisting of a bold turquoise and coral color palette, accented with white vintage accessories."
Color Tips:
"1) White is a good accent color when using bold colors. It has a clean, brilliant look.
2) If you are redecorating your room and the furniture doesn't match your new color scheme, repaint the furniture.
3) If you are contemplating several color schemes, paint a small section of each wall with a different palette and live with them for a week."
Color Resources:
1) Leaf through all magazines, not just interior decoration; the color compositions of some ads catch your attention with splashes of color!
2) Relax with some interior decorating TV shows; great ideas and color schemes are found there! (Also, the designers always know where to buy just the right accents that complete a room!)

I've been wondering how to store/display my ever-expanding collection of handbags and this gives me a great idea. Do you think I could fill a whole blank wall with my bags? They's be exposed to dust but I think it could work. What say you, design gurus?
Gabby, can you organize the collection so that the wall display implies a pattern when viewed from a distance? I can imagine blocks of color or perhaps a sort of mod design, played out in shades of purse.
I think this is cool. Well-coordinted and true to its theme. I like the purse as design object, because I know it personal and pleasing to you, and solves a storage issue at the same time.
I just wish I could pull the bed out on the diagonal, but I suppose there is not enough space.
Wow! That girl knows her colors! I just adore the coral and turquoise color combo. Also love the purses/bags. Some look homemade! Do you make them yourself? Where can I get my hands on one!
Hey this is Elysa, the owner of this room. Just thought I'd let all of the voters out there know that I am only 16 years old!! So keep in mind that it is a teen's room you are voting on... Doreen, yes I made some of those handbags myself, and am currently selling others (not those pictured) if you are interested!
