Well, there wasn’t quite the close call that the east had, but as the clock struck 2:00, it was clear that Kate had an impressive lead on the pack and that Jon was clearly taking the #2 spot.

Kudos to Kate, Jon, Karen, Turquoise, Gari and Enrique for all of their fine efforts.

And For Kate and Jon, your weekend homework is due Monday 10am. Please submit six photographs (two new ones or all new ones if you like) and 100 words on: "Why I should win" and 25 words on "whose room I liked best in this contest (besides my own)." And get ready to rumble again against the east coast winners, Tod and Cori Marie (winners by a vote!)and Ky (East coast 2nd).

jon,

You are truly a master of color. Take some amazing photos of your place this weekend. You are my pick for the win. Good Luck!

I feel very fortunate to have been included amongst such a talented group of entries. Everyone brings something unique to this contest.

Jon-your space is hip with the mix of great accessories. Love the yellow foo dogs!

Gari-The brown color gives me the feeling of relaxation yet refinement. Also hands off to your hand.

Turquoise-This room has a decadent vibe. Chic Chica.

Karen-A bold space that says life is a party!

Enrique-Impressive style, very modern organic. Hands down you have the best closet doors I have ever seen period.

I hope to represent the west well. Jon and I will show the east our great California Style :)

I really like all the Western finalists, but still can not get OVER the fact that the Safari nursery did not make the final five.
