Flickr Find: Bread Pan as Succulent Planter

060908breadpan.jpgHere's an inexpensive planter idea from AT:LA reader giantjeansparlor. She says "Small succulent plants are cheap, but plant containers are not..." so she found a solution in bread pans! She found a great assortment at her local thrift shop... and added some (a shot of her adorable "assistant" that helped her create this after the jump)

Hummm....cool planter idea. I scored a couple of glass containers at a second hand store $1 each to plant succulents. I'll have to add rocks for drainage, though.

Can you tell me what type of succulent the one on the left in the main pic is? Cool plant!

What a terrific planter idea. The ones I like always cost 3 times the plant itself.

And every project is more appealing with an assistant like this one.
