We've seen our share of chalkboard walls here on Apartment Therapy but this is the first time we've seen an office that screams to us "recreate for yourself at home." We love the dark wall contrasting against the white desk and the feel of the organic wood office supplies. So we decided to see how much it would be if we re-created the look for ourselves--and for under $125. Check out where to shop after the jump.
While it looks like jenerally speaking picked up most of the supplies to create this office at IKEA, we think it would be easy to translate even if you don't have an IKEA close by. The chalkboard paint and the white desk is what really makes this look work. The wood accents and accessories can be found in a craft store or your local Target.

I'm in love with the white ceramic Asker Ikea containers, they're perfect for growing herbs out in the back yard, then hanging them around indoors when you need a little greenery in your life. Adore!

Just do't USE the chalkboard much. The chalk dust is terrible for computer parts.

That's a question I always ask about chalkboard paint--what about the dust? And do these walls really come clean or is the ghost of former messages always lurking?
