When you're creating a place to call home, it's all in the details. Megan (of Contented Sparrow) understands that. She's created vibrant corners throughout her home using bright, cheerful color combos that make for a welcoming space for all to enjoy. More of Megan's vibrant corners of her home after the jump!
A bright colored spot where Megan can retreat to create makes her work zone the perfect fit.
We recently talked about using window panes in your home's decor. Here, Megan uses a vintage window pane to rotate her children's colorful artwork.
We've previously seen fabric displayed in embroidery hoops but there's something about Megan's choice of brightly colored floral fabric that strikes a chord.
Bringing the outdoors in, we love this hospitable display in the kitchen. The organic nature of the twigs mixed with hanging red starbursts makes this vibrant spot stand out.

I'm finishing my craft/sewing room from The Cure, so the first pic strikes a chord. It's lovely. Not my style, but it's so workable to have everything in view.

Love that (vintage?) oval embroidery hoop! Anyone know where I might find one like that?

Is Megan a quilter? The set up of that desk is lovely, but as someone who sews garments, I know for sure that everything to the left of the sewing machine would get knocked off every time I ran a seam through as the clothes near completion and get bulkier. For quilting I guess the smaller piecework would be okay, but I imagine running a nearly-finished quilt through the machine and again, down goes the pretty lamp.

I wish there was a link to her photos. I tried searching with contented sparrow and can't find anything.
