Instead of placing her ceramic flower pots on the ground, Mira uses a painted step ladder, a tiered corner table and a wood plant stand to create layers. Mira elevates her plants which creates a sense of security and privacy in an otherwise open spot outdoors. The step ladder does double duty as a plant stand which can also be easily transported around the house when doing chores.

Close. I'd rather see a taller ladder, with cascading plants on the upper steps. And scrub that mineral deposit off the pot with the ficus. But her bunny planter and the doves are charming.
Big red arrow detracts from photo. We get it, don't need to rub it in.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for repelling wasps..? I love my patio, filled with plants, flowers and herb garden - In Chicago, you only have so much time to sit outside and enjoy it...but I'm finding lately, the wasps are hanging out a little too much. The bees I can handle...it's all mind control and I just try to ignore them as best I can...but the wasps are a little much...help!...please...
