Flickr Find: Using A Frame To Display Hair Accessories

We're doling out a bit of storage as display ideas this week. Starting with with yarn in vintage creamers yesterday and today, chic white frames displaying hair accessories. Supplies for this organized idea after the jump.

Luzia Pimpinella takes a decorative picture frame and some red gingham fabric (love the preppy-ness) and some red ric rac to hold her hair accessories in place. We're also brainstorming other objects that would store nicely on Luzia's frame. Maybe earrings or a set of nice pens in the office space. We love integrating everyday items (that need a place to live when not in use) but are incorporated into our decor (which allows for easy access).

a friend recently made me something like this for my birthday. she took a frame and attached window screen material to it (instead of the fabric used here). i use it to display my earrings.

I use multi-hook wall mounted necktie hangers for some of my necklaces on the wall of my walk-in closet. They look nice, are easy to find, and don't get all tangled up like in a drawer. (Since I make and collect costume jewelry, sadly I have way more necklaces than hooks, but the ones in the jewelry box I don't wear as often...)
