Flickr Finds: Bright Yellow

[We love the yellow chairs in designerbee's home.]

Last week we highlighted the bold and colorful color accent bright red. We spotted another bright pop of color (interpreted through what looks like a very similar chair) right in the Apartment Therapy LA Flickr pool....

...bright yellow! We already know that mimosa yellow is Pantone's Color of the Year and enjoy seeing this vibrant color in home design. Bright pops of color are commonly interpreted in home design...especially primary colors blue, red and yellow.

I love these chairs! I have seen them or similar ones a few times recently. Does anyone know what they are or when to find some? I'd love some red ones for my kitchen!

jessimarie33 - the chairs look to be the Marais AC chair. The yellow one is actually on sale right now for $125.

Thanks so much! The price is still a little high for me, but I will keep them on a wishlist! Maybe a knockoff exists somewhere?

I think I've seen similar chairs at pottery barn...not sure about quality/price, though

Oh, I'm in love with these french bistro chairs. The plain metal chairs were originally $135 on DWR when they first had them available - I have always regretted not buying them then!

Why hello ATLA - may I introduce you to the beginnings of my new place. It's still a huge work in progress which has basically halted in this economy. The chairs were purchased with my DWR prize money from the Smallest Coolest Contest of 07. I also got the Saarinen table that you see in the background. So thank you!
