Flickr Finds: Vivorr's DIY Bedroom Chandelier

How about this one-of-a-kind DIY bedroom chandelier created out of a galvanized steel vase, unraveled IKEA string lights and some decorative branches? Strange, but in a beautiful, otherworldly way. More photos from this Flickr set here.

My experince with Ikea lights is that they burn out quickly. I used them to provide gentl uplighting for some Native American pottery. Nice effect but short term, apparantly.
