With the weather warming up, it's a great time to start thinking about freshening up your outdoor space. Whether you have a small balcony patio, or a large yard, these outdoor planters are an easy way to bring a little modern style. These bright white planters from Chiasso are available in square cubes and longer rectangular shapes. They're made of lightweight fiberglass, so they're easy to lift and move.

Prices range from $48-$188 here.

Nice! I was actually going to request a thread/help with finding really cool planters. I notice in a lot of magazines there's usually a striking planter in the little corners of interior design photos.

Unfortunately, when I check places like Home Depot, I see nothing but the "garden variety" versions.

Oh...and it was nice to revisit Chiasso.som. I found a great B&B Italia chair knock-off that I had been hunting down all weekend (saw it in Home magazine)--the Neptune/Jetsons lounge chair.

hey meltendo-
check out Crate&Barrel and IKEA for some other modern planters that are reasonably priced. We'll definitely be posting more examples throughout the next couple months as Summer quickly approaches!

Also, try http://www.urbnat.com if you want the best of the best.

These planters come in larger sizes, are hand made locally, and really make a statement. I just bought two that really make my entryway look amazing.
