Kettle Planter

Is it too early for Christmas shopping? Right about now is when I start thinking (not necessarily actually getting, hehe) about the gifts I'm going to be giving this year, including housewarming presents for the upcoming holiday gatherings. This little kettle planter could be a great idea for either...

It's bright red and contains basil and mint seeds. As an added bonus, the packaging is already holiday-ready, as the top doubles as a cute Santa nose! And if it's too early for you to think about gift giving, perhaps this could be a cute gift for yourself... or your kitchen? $14 here.

Why is a teapot a good idea for a planter?

Give to someone who doesn't have a green thumb, then they don't have to feel so bad once the plant dies and they are left with a useless planter. This one can be, uh, de-purposed as a teapot again.

Or maybe you can tilt it a bit to drain the excess water out the spout.
