A while back we wanted to get some nice big pots to really do up a fancy container garden. Shockingly, we didn't want to spend a ton of money doing it. So Pottery Manufacturing and Distribution in Gardena saved us.

It was a little out of the way, but we ended up getting all the pots you see in our house tour and then some: some of them so big we can't even move them by ourselves. We're still working on the 'fancy' part of a big and fancy container garden, but we're super happy with the bright colored, simply shaped pots we bought. We had to dig a little to find a group we liked, but were impressed with the selection of different styles they carried: from ornate italian urns to modern metal zen ractangular containers, to every kind of terra cotta you could imagine and then our glossy, modern colorful ones.
A note: if you find one that has a little ding here or a crack there, you can get them for even cheaper. If memory serves, 6 big pots, 4 smaller ones and a smattering of terra cotta containers came to less than $300.
Good to know Gardena is living up to its name! I'll have to check this out the next time I see my chiropractor. (He's so good, the last time I went was last year!)

OMG! I just posted about this a couple of days ago! St. Vincent de Paul near downtown usually has great ceramic containers! That's where I've been getting mine.
