Reader, Very Lame, uploaded these pictures to the flickr pool showing that you really don't need much space to have and enjoy a garden. A few strategically placed containers with herbs and flowers can go a really long way:
Look! Small Container Garden
These flowers are placed right outside the bedroom window so that they're the first thing you see when you wake up.
Some Oregano in a pot makes this patio feel cozy (the salt and pepper shakers help too).
A freshly painted yellow kitchen is given some life with freshly planted basil.
