WheelEasy LE: The Collapsible Wheelbarrow

070208wheeleasy01.jpgWith all the physical toil we've been doing for our garden makeover project, we've often wished we had a wheelbarrow around (the good news is we're developing some muscles we've never had before). But living in a studio apartment without a garage means we've been frugal with our tool purchases, both for budget reasons and also for space constrictions. We might have found an answer for our hauling needs with this collapsible yard cart...

070208wheeleasy02.jpgThe WheelEasy LE provides about 75% of the utility of a wheelbarrow in a low laying form, allowing the gardener (aka me) to haul away garden cuttings, collections of rocks/pebbles, and even the occasional stone (carrying up to 150 lbs), while also providing easy and compact storage when not in use. Although the WheelEasy LE retails for $59.99 + shipping, we've discovered it online for a lot less.

Brilliant! Why didn't someone think of it sooner?

I love this! I might actually do yard work now. Maybe.

this is a great idea... for apartment dwellers AND those who just don't have enough yard work to warrant a big ol' wheelbarrel.

...however i'll keep tossing my yard waste into the brown paper yard waste bags our town collects in.
